How this board is built
The universe is the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. From that list we remove:
- Stablecoins. A coin designed to hold a peg moving 0.4% is a peg wobble, not a market move, and it would otherwise dominate a losers board on a quiet day.
- Wrapped and staked derivatives — wrapped Bitcoin, staked Ether and similar. They track an asset already on the list, so including both prints the same move twice under two names.
- Anything under $5.00M of 24-hour volume. A 90% gain on a few thousand dollars of turnover tells you about one trade, not about a market.
What is left is sorted by 24-hour percentage change and the top 25 are shown. We do not hand-pick entries, and we do not remove an asset because we have opinions about it.
