Normas editoriales

How Token Boost researches, sources, fact-checks, corrects and discloses. The standards every article on this site is held to, in full.

These are the rules every article on Token Boost is held to. They are published because standards that are not written down are not standards.

The process

Every article goes draft, edit, fact-check, publish. Nothing is published straight from a draft, including short news pieces. The edit is substantive rather than a proofread: an editor pushes back on unsupported claims, asks where a number came from, and sends pieces back when the answer is unsatisfying.

Sourcing

Any article that could affect a financial decision carries at least three sources with outbound links, and those links go to primary material — a block explorer, a court filing, an exchange announcement, a manufacturer spec sheet, a regulator’s own publication — rather than to somebody else’s coverage of it. Citing a secondary report is acceptable only when the primary document is not public, and we say so when that is the case.

Where we cannot verify a claim, we write that we cannot verify it. We do not launder an unverified claim through a hedge like “reports suggest”.

Numbers

Price and profitability figures carry the timestamp and the assumptions they were computed under. Every mining figure is reproducible in our calculator from the inputs stated in the article.

We do not publish a projection without a stated time horizon, and we do not present a scenario as a prediction. Where a calculation holds a variable constant that will not stay constant — network difficulty is the standing example — the article says so rather than letting the number imply more certainty than it has.

Artificial intelligence

We do not publish AI-generated body prose. Language models are used for research triage and for checking our own work, in the same way a spell-checker is, and never to produce the article you read. Commissioned freelance work is held to the same rule.

Cómo funcionan nuestras firmas

Token Boost articles are published under editorial desk identities rather than the names of individual employees, and the avatars beside them are generated monograms rather than photographs of people. This is stated here, on the about page and in the site FAQ, because the alternative — inventing biographies and attaching stock or synthesised faces to them — is a practice that has done real damage to trust in this sector.

Each desk carries a stated standard and a public archive you can hold it to. To reach the person responsible for a specific piece, write to editorial@token-boost.com and name the article.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected in place with a dated note at the foot of the article. We do not quietly edit a published claim and pretend it was always that way. Where a correction changes the meaning of the piece, the note says so explicitly rather than describing it as a clarification.

Typographical fixes that do not change meaning are made silently. Everything else is logged.

Independence and disclosure

No advertiser, affiliate partner or exchange sees an article before publication. Nobody can buy a position in a ranking. Where a company we cover is also an affiliate partner, that is disclosed inside the article, and any piece containing affiliate links carries a disclosure box above the body text — see the affiliate disclosure for the full rules, including the ones that apply when a well-paying partner has the weaker product.

We publish no gambling, casino or betting content. Security and self-custody articles carry no affiliate links at all.

Conflicts

Writers disclose holdings in any asset they cover. Holding a position is not disqualifying; concealing it is. Nobody writes about a company they have a financial relationship with beyond a disclosed affiliate arrangement.

Reader complaints

If you believe an article breaches any of the above, write to the editorial address with the URL and the specific standard you think was missed. We will reply, and where we agree we will fix it and say what changed.
