What data Token Boost collects, why, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and how to have it corrected or deleted under GDPR and CCPA.
The short version: we collect very little, we do not sell any of it, and we load no third-party trackers.
What we collect
Analytics. Aggregate page views and referrers, used to understand which articles are useful. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not attempt to identify individuals from it. IP addresses are anonymised where our analytics supports it.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the date you consented and the fact that it came from the site form. Nothing else. We never sell or share it, and every issue carries a working one-click unsubscribe.
Comments. Name, email and comment text. Email addresses are never published or shared.
Server logs. IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp, retained for a short period for security and abuse handling, then discarded.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising pixels or social tracking widgets. We do not load third-party fonts, avatar services or logo CDNs, which means your browser is not quietly making requests to other companies while you read — a detail most sites get wrong even when their policy says otherwise.
Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies. The main one remembers whether you chose light or dark mode; another records that you dismissed the cookie notice. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. You can clear them at any time in your browser without breaking the site.
Third parties
Market data is fetched by our server from a data provider and served to you from our domain, so your browser does not contact them directly. Our host processes traffic on our behalf under a data-processing agreement. If we add an email provider for the newsletter, this page will be updated to name them before any address is transferred.
Retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Comments are kept while the article is published. Server logs are short-lived. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to an identity.
Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA you may request a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to processing. Write to editorial@token-boost.com and we will respond within the statutory period. We will not ask you to justify the request.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on the site rather than updating it quietly. The last-updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
